UDP

UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is a communication protocol used primarily for establishing low-latency and loss-tolerating connections between applications on the internet. Unlike TCP, UDP enables faster data transmission by sending messages, called datagrams, without establishing a connection. This makes it ideal for applications such as video streaming, online gaming, and voice-over-IP (VoIP) where real-time performance is critical.
